NEW IDENTITY
A new identity can sometimes be just a new name. This is much more than that. Sparc Foundry is becoming Ardora III-V, a compound semiconductor manufacturing hub based in Vigo, Spain.
The opportunities this creates for critical sectors are immense, ranging from artificial intelligence and next-generation telecommunications to defense and aerospace. Our new identity reflects both who we are today and the ambition driving us forward.

All this cutting-edge technology becomes reality on the shores of the Vigo Estuary, home to a phenomenon known as the Mar de Ardora (glowing sea). Here, bioluminescent microorganisms create a spectacle of light that overcomes the darkness. A nod from nature? We couldn't resist paying tribute to our roots, to our homeland of Galicia. The estuary, with its blend of habitats and the richness that emerges from them, is a cornerstone of our philosophy:

We are a foundry specializing in compound semiconductors. We manufacture advanced devices based on III-V materials (InP, GaAs, and GaN), technologies that are key to photonics, artificial intelligence, telecommunications, defense, sensing systems, and next-generation connectivity. We provide manufacturing capacity for advanced photonics applications and radio frequency (RF) devices.
Our mission is to reduce Europe's technological dependence and strengthen the resilience of the supply chain in strategic sectors.
